Five Excellent Resources for Your Online Business

AudioAcrobat.com is a fantastic resource and is only 19.95 a month if you use it right (making sure that when you post an audio it is only downloadable–this saves you enormous bandwidth charges). Included is the ability to post your audios and podcasts on iTunes for free, giving you millions of listeners who wouldn’t necessarily find you.
I do have a bridge line I use to record my teleclasses (more about that below), but I like AudioAcrobat.com for my interviews and my private sessions.
I also like it that you can use AudioAcrobat.com to record your other audios, podcasts and videocasts, and publish them to iTunes, too–you can’t do that on any of the free or for fee bridge lines.
THE BEST BRIDGE LINE, EVER
If you want a bridge line that is more than just talk…
…and record, you’ll really appreciate Xiosoft’s Instant Teleseminar bridge line. It’s awesome–its features are much more sophisticated than any free bridge line, but at the same time, pretty easy to use. You can do both teleclasses and webcasts at once. And yes, this is way better than the one they used to call Basement Ventures (don’t know what it’s called now).
I like the phone control board the best–you can record in one click. With AudioAcrobat.com, you have to go off the line to call your recording function–that’s OK for a private session or interview, but it’s scary when you have a few hundred eager people on your line. With free bridge lines, you also have to leave the call, and have to dial in a code to record.
Instant Teleseminar makes it so you click on one button on your control page to record or stop recording–no code, no going off the line–and you can click it on and off as you please. You get the audio MP3 recording right after your call, too–no waiting.
You can ask people to raise their hands when they are still muted and see their response on the control board, and pick and choose which one to open the line for. You can’t do this on a regular mute-all line.
Likewise, you can also call on people even when the line is muted–you can even throw people off the line if they’re heckling or their phone line or background noise is screwing up the sound.
Be warned–this service is not cheap! But you won’t find one anywhere else that even comes close to this one. I consider it so valuable I don’t even think about the fees. Sound quality is excellent, bridge lines are clear, recording is easy; you get crisp, professional signup thank you pages with phone access and webcast access info and links, plus linkability to your site and your bonuses, plus interaction thru a Q & A box before and during your teleclasses–Instant Teleseminar is absolutely unbeatable.
AUTORESPONDERS
Right now, I use the autoresponders in 1Automationwiz.com (sister to 1shoppingcart.com). I like their service for product buy-buttons, but I’m growing very discontented with their deliverability and especially their severely high fee for customer service (yes! FEES to get customer service!).
Next week, I’ll be shifting my mailing list over to iContact.com for emailing and autoresponders. They have the highest deliverability in the biz (99%, they say), and they have free 12-hour a day customer support (unlike 1shoppingcart.com or 1Automationwiz.com where you pay 34 extra for per month–rip!). There are other features that make this an awesome choice–check it out.
(Don’t get me wrong–I still like 1Automationwiz.com for creating my buy buttons and links.)
MAKE YOUR AUDIO INTO A PODCAST
I use PodcastPeople.com because it’s so inexpensive, while giving me top-rate service and website functionailty. NO ADS on my pages, either! I pay only 8 bucks a month and I can load many, many audios per month onto it.
Of all the podcast sites, I like this one the best. All the other ones I have tried had ads on the pages (ugly!); and crashed regularly, losing my podcasts. To have hundreds of podcasts on your site and have to re-upload and write each blurb is a royal pain, believe me!
I use my PodcastPeople.com service in conjuction with the iTunes function on AudioAcrobat.com for the highest online coverage.
AUDACITY AUDIO EDITING
Audacity is a free audio-editing software. It is what I use when I edit my audios. It’s an easy learning curve. You can get it for free HERE.
