Someone asked me last Saturday, when I mentioned my new coach, Sydni Craig-Hart at http://SmartSimpleMarketing.com, what was the big deal about her?
“She’s not a big-name, she’s not flashy like Ali Brown is now, she’s not anyone who looks in any way out of the ordinary. How come you’re so excited about her, Angela?’
Precisely because of all that. In most cases, when you look up the big-name coaches, you can’t have access to them without paying both arms, both legs, your first-born and half your blood. If you don’t, you end up with one of their unknown coaches-for-hire who I wouldn’t know from Adam or Eve. Why would I want to do that?
I wanted someone who knew what she was doing, didn’t charge 43 million bucks a milli-second just because she has a big name, and who could get me where I want t go.
I don’t want flash and dash. I’m not a flashy person, and I don’t care about flash and dash. What I do want is
a seriously committed person who is down to earth, experientially knowledgeable about business and marketing online, honestly caring and solidly supporting.
I don’t give a rip if she is famous or not as long as she can help me do what I want to do, doesn’t put up with my excuses and speaks to me such in a way that I know she holds my success in the space and that she’s as excited about my success as I am.
I like her website precisely because it is simple, clear and honest, and I think if most coaches would build sites like that they’d do very well. Instead of ranting about EFT or affirmations or whatever systems she might use, she let’s you know she gets you results.
I like how mellow she looks, sounds and is, while at the same time I know she is diamond-tough and laser-focused.
Make sense?
What are your parameters for choosing a new coach?
